Gautam Buddha University, established by the Uttar Pradesh Act, commenced its first academic session in August 2008. Eligibility:

• For MA, MSW: Graduate from any discipline with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply.
• For M.Tech (environmental engineering): B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical /Production/Industrial Engineering, with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) in qualifying examination or equivalent grade.
• For M.Tech (structural engineering): B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) in qualifying examination or equivalent grade.
• For M.Tech (environmental science and environment engineering): Geraduation with physics chemistry and mathematics from any recognized college/ university with minimum 50 % marks ( 40% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade

Application Form can also be obtained from the Counter at the University by paying in cash/demand draft drawn in favour of The Chairman, Admissions payable at Gautam Budh Nagar of Rs. 200/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST candidates. Outstation candidates may obtain the application from by post after paying additional Rs. 50/-. Applications are invited only in the prescribed format of the University.
