Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), founded in 1948, has its roots in the patriotic fervor of Dr. R. M. Alagappa Chettiar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar.

  • Candidate must be first class M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Chemical/Physical/Biological and related sciences.
  • Qualified in CSIR/UGC-NET Examination with a valid Rank OR
  • Candidate with a valid DST Inspire fellowship in the above disciplines
Selection: Selection for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall be on the basis of the interview(s) of short listed candidates at CECRI.
