Mode of Examination
Examination Pattern: FET-JNTUH-2012 will be conducted in 18 subject disciplines as listed in Table – 1. The question paper will have 120 objective type multiple choice questions which include Part –I (40 questions in general ability, aptitude and analytical skills) and Part –II (80 questions in subject specialization). Each correct answer carries one mark and a wrong answer carry negative 1/4 mark. The test will be for 2hrs duration. qualifying marks for the Test is 40% and 30% for SC/ST candidates.
OMR Answer Sheets will be supplied along with the Question Booklet Candidates have to mark the correct answer by darkening the appropriate bubble against each question on an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet with Black/blue ball point pen.

5. For Officers Training Academy - SSC (Women Non- Technical) Course :  (a) Unmarried Women, issue less widows who have not remarried, and issue less divorcees (in possession of divorcee documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 1994.

(B) Educational Qualifications:

1. For Indian Military Academy and Officers' Training Academy : Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.

IBPS CWE for Rural Bank for Officer and Office-Assistant posts

Applications are invited for the first CWE for Rural Banks Officer posts (Scale-I,II and III) and Office-Assistants, for which CWE will be conducted on 02/09/2012 for Officers and 09/09/2012 for Office-Assistant posts.

Joint CSIR-UGC Test For Junior Research Fellowship 2012

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test on 17th June, 2012 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science. The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a university/ national laboratory/ institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.

The final result of this Single MCQ test may be declared sometime in the month of August, 2012 and fellowship to successful candidates could be awarded from 01.01.2013.

Eligibility: M.Sc. or Equivalent degree under the subjects mentioned in para 2.1 above, with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC candidates; 50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates and Ph.D. degree holders who had passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991. A candidate can also apply for the Test under RA (Result Awaited) category, if he/she is appearing or has appeared in his/her final year.

Age Limit and Relaxation
For JRF (NET): Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2012 (upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years
as in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(Non Creamy Layer), Physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and
female applicants).
For LS (NET): Minimum 19 years, as on 01.01.2012. No upper age limit.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test, NIMCET 2012

NIMCET-2012 is a National Level Entrance Test for admission into Master of Computer Applications programme (MCA) offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur,Kurukshetra, raipur, surathkal, tiruchirapalli and Warangal.

Eligibility: Indian  Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC,  ST category) in 12th (i.e. 10 + 2) level or  equivalent, with Mathematics as one of the subjects at either 10+1 or  10+2 level or at both the levels ANDQualifying Degree – Bachelor’s  Degree of Full time* 3 year or more duration from a recognized University with  at least one of the following as a chosen subject of study:

Mathematics,  Statistics, Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Discrete Mathematics,   Mathematical  Foundations of Computer Science, Computational Mathematics,   Elementary  Mathematics, Elementary Statistics are eligible  to apply for NIMCET-2012.

Application Fee : The processing Fee for  NIMCET-2012 test and counselling for admission to the MCA programme is Rs.1500 /- for OPEN/OBC category and Rs. 750/- for  SC/ST category candidates. Candidates have to take Demand Draft for an appropriate  amount relevant to their category. Demand Draft must be drawn in favor of “NIMCET-2012”, payable at Warangal. Candidates  are required to write their name, address and Mobile/Phone Number and  NIMCET-2012 Application Number generated,  on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.
