Job Location: Patna (touring job)
Position: Veterinary Officers on contractual basis (No of Posts-300)
Remuneration: Rs 22500/- per month
Eligibility:

• Candidate should have a B.V.Sc & A.H Degree along with an internship of minimum 6 months and also need to be registered with Bihar Veterinary Council, Patna.
• Candidates doing internship are also eligible to apply but they should be able to produce certificate of B.V.Sc & A.H Degree and Registration certificate of Bihar Veterinary Council, Patna at the time of Counseling/ Interviews.

Age limit: 37 years (Women: 40 years, SC/ST-42, EBC/BC-40)
Tenure: Appointment will be for period of maximum 1 year or till Regular appointments are done, whichever is early.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be listed in a priority order on the basis of marks in B.V.Sc & A.H Degree and then be called for an interview.

Veterinary Science grads as SSC Officers @ Indian Army

Positions: Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps

Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100, Grade pay Rs.6100 + MPS Rs.6000 + 25% NPA

Eligibility: BVSc/ BVSc. & AH degree from any recognised Indian University or equivalent.

Age: 21-32 years as on October 4, 2011

Selection process: Shortlisting of applications will be done at Directorate General Remount Vetrinary Corps, those found eligible will be called for SSB on a specified date. On arrival at the SSB, the Shortlisted candidates will be administeredstage-1 of the two stage testing procedure. Those who qualify will be detailed to undergo Group Test, Psychological Test and Interview which will extend for a duration o 5 days.

Medical exam: Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.
