Eligibility
The maximum age limit for admission is 21 years (26 years for SC/ST candidates) as on 1 Oct 2011.
Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average of 4 subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology
To apply for any of the programmes listed above, eligible candidates must download and print the application form available at http://www.bitmesra.ac.in/Admissions/IMSc-PG-Diploma/ApplicationFormIMSc-27-06-2011.pdf , and send the completed form along with two recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form and one attached by clip to the form), with photocopies of all marksheets and certificates, and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1,500/- (non-refundable) in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi, in a stout A4 size envelope by Speedpost / Registered Post / reliable courier to the office of Dean Admission & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215 positively by the due date. Write “Name of the programme applied for on the envelope”.
