The test is for admission to Biotechnology Finishing Schools (BTFS) for post graduate diploma in specialized biotechnology job-oriented courses.

Test for: PG Diploma in Biotechnology in 12 well institutions across the state

  • Nutraceuticals and Food Processing
  • Plant Genetic Transformation, Genome, Seed & Marker Analysis
  • Bioinformatics & Rational Drug Design
  • Pre-clinical, Clinical Research, Biostatistics and Data Management
  • Plant tissue culture and Micro Propagation

Programme duration: 1-year
  • Course work : 6 months
  • Internship: 6 months

Eligibility:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Bio-Technology/ Bio-Science Agriculture/Veterinary Science/ B.Pharma/M.Pharma/M.B.B.S.
    OR
  • B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/Bio Medical
Selection process:
  • Appear for the online test - KBAT, followed by an interview at Bangalore.
  • Final selection will be made by a Sub Committee of the Vision Group on Biotechnology based on the submitted proposal and presentation by the Academic Institution to the Sub Committee.
