MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, MArch admissions across colleges, TN

Seven Associations in the State of Tamilnadu have formed a Consortium in the name of “Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu”, where various Engineering Colleges, Arts, Science and Management colleges are also members.

CONSORTIUM will conduct Common Entrance Test - 2011 for MBA/ MCA/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch courses to enter private engineering, arts, science and management colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Exam: Common Emtrance Test 2011

For: MBA/ MCA/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch courses

Exam date:
MBA: August 6, 2011 (10.00 am to 12.00 noon)
MCA: August 6, 2011 (2.30 pm to 4.30 pm)
ME/ MTech/ MArch: August 7, 2011 (10.00 am to 12.00 noon)

Eligibility:

MBA:

• A pass in any degree with 10+2+3/4years pattern, (or)
• A pass in any degree with 10+3 (Diploma) +3 year pattern.
• Candidates who have already passed the above qualifying degree course and those who have appeared for the final semester / year examination of the said qualifying degree course during April / May 2011 may apply for MBA/ MCA/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch Common Entrance Test - 2011,
• for admission to M.B.A. degree programme.

MCA:

• A pass in any Degree with 10+2+3/4 years pattern with Mathematics* at +2 level or with
• Mathematics/ Statistics** as one of the subjects at the degree level.
• Mathematics or Business Mathematics.
• Minimum eligiblity marks will be indicated by the admitting authorities concerned in their notification for admission.

ME/ MTech/ MArch:

• Pass in BE/ BTech/ BArch degree
• BPharm / BSc (Agri/ Forestry/ Horticulture/ Fishery) degree
• Mater's degree in the relevant branch of Science /Arts, which are prescribed.
