Programme: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)

Duration: 3 years – Fulltime (Six semesters)

PHTI is imparting training in Mechanical stream (Helicopters and power plants):

• Airframe Rotary Wing Aircraft (RA)
• Engines [a. Jet Engine (JE); b. Piston Engine (PE)]
  

Eligibility: Class 12 with minimum 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics of Diploma/ Degree in Engineering.
Medical Fitness: The students shall get the medical examination done before they are admitted to the training institute by a doctor possessing at least an MBBS degree in an approved format. Candidates which may interfere in discharging the duties as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

Age: (As on 1st July of the year)

• Upper age limit is 22 years for 10+2 class or equivalent
• Upper age limit is 25 years for B.Sc/ Diploma holders or equivalent

Job training: The students under the guidance of experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers shall be permitted to take on job training in the maintenance of helicopters at Pawan Hans facilities at Mumbai, delhi and other areas of operation.

Fee: Approx. Rs 75,000
