Entrance test: Xaviers Aptitude Test (XAT)

Centres will double up:

• There will be an increase in the number of XAT centres to reach out to more interested candidates. Details of the same would be released in due course of time.
• This has been done to prevent inconvenience to candidates who had to travel to other cities for giving XAT. The exam will be coordinated by XLRI, Jamshedpur.

XAT test format: The format of XAT would be pencil-paper based to ensure that candidates of all backgrounds are at par.
Selection process:

• Apart from the 16 core institutes mentioned, 70 associated institutes located in different parts of the country select students on basis of XAT scores.
• Applicants should note that registration of XAT is a pre-condition for applying to the different institutes and they have to apply separately to institutes of their choice.
