Hiring 15 Secretarial Asst. Trainees: IISC, Bangalore

Positions:
Secretarial Assistant Trainees : 14 posts (Gen:7, OBC:4, SC:2, ST:1); one of the positions is reserved for physically challenged persons  (reserved for Orthopaedically handicapped.  If suitable candidate is not available under this category, Hearing impaired person would be considered).

Hindi Secretarial Assistant Trainee: 1 post (Gen)

Stipend: Rs. 9,000/-, 9500/- and 10,000/- per month (fixed) for I/II and III year respectively.

Eligibility:
Secretarial Assistant Trainees:

• Essential : Three years Diploma in Secretarial/ Commercial Practice (English) with Computer Literacy   OR  Bachelor’s degree   in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent with computer literacy.
• Desirable : Senior English Typewriting & Junior English Shorthand.

Hindi Secretarial Assistant Trainee:

• Essential : Bachelor’s degree  in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent  and should have studied Hindi as First/ Second language or as an optional subject. Knowledge of Hindi, English Typing with computer literacy.
• Desirable: M.A. in Hindi and Diploma in translation course

Period of training: 3 years

Selection process: Written test and Interview.
