The School of Distance Education (SDE) was established by Kannur University. SDE started functioning with B.Com Degree Course in the year 2002-03.Institute: School of Distance Education, Kannur University

Programme: Undergraduate Course

• B.A (English, History, Economics, Malayalam, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology): Pass in Pre-Degree/ Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto.
• B. Sc Mathematics: Pass in Pre-Degree/ Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• B.B.A, B. Com (Co-operation) : Pass in Pre-Degree/ Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks for Non-Commerce students and pass for Commerce students.
• B.C.A: Pass in Pre-Degree/Plus Two or Examination Equivalent thereto with Computer Science/ Computer application / Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• B. A (Afzal-Ul-Ulama) : Pass in Afzal-Ul-Ulama Preliminary Examination.
• Afzal-Ul-Ulama (Preliminary): Pass in S.S.L.C or Examination Equivalent thereto
• Additional Optional (Co-operation) : Pass in B. Com Examination from Kannur University.

Payment of fees: By Chalan in Treasury (Head of Account 8658-00-102-96(27) KUS) or in SBT (Head of Account 102-005)
