The ITI/NCVT qualification should be either of the following two- 1. ITI/ NCVT put together of not less than 2 years OR 2. ITI of one year duration Plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.

Laboratory	2	HSC in Science stream with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should have Physics, Maths and Biology subjects. OR HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects)/SSC with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Laboratory. The ITI/NCVT qualification should be either of the following two- 1. ITI/NCVT put together of not less than 2 years OR 2. ITI of one year duration Plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.

Note:

• For Category 1: Those who have a M.Sc/ degree in Engineering/AMIE/equivalent or are in their final year of the courses will not be considered for the post of trainees and need not apply. Diploma should be from govt. recognized institute
• For Category 2: Those who have B.Sc/ Diplom in Engineering/ AMIE/ Degree in Engineering or are in final year of any of these courses will not be considered and hence need not apply. ITI certificate should be from govt. recognized institute

 Age Limit

• For Category I - 19 years (min) and 24 years (max) as on July 16, 2010.
• For Category II - 18 years (min) and 22 years (max)  as on July 16, 2010.

Duration of Training:

• For Category I: 2 years
• For Category II: 2 years

Stipend during training:

• For Category I: Rs. 9300/- per month
• For Category II: Rs 6200/- per month in first year and Rs. 7200 per month in second year.

Note: Trainees will be entitled for a one time book allowance of Rs. 1500 for purchase of approved books pertaining to their training course.
