ASRB hiring 303 Scientists
- For ARS/ NET Examination: Candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned subject with a specialization in different subjects as mentioned as on August 1, 2011
- For ARS-Main Examination: Candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned subject against each discipline, from any Indian University estd. By an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed university under Section 3 of University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/ she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent by the Govt. of India
- The candidates having Master’s degree from forign University must attach a certificate of equivalence and recognition of that degree issued by the university Grants Commision/ Govt of India on August 1, 2011
Age:
- For Agricultural Research Service: Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 32 years as on August 1, 2022 i.e. born not earlier than August 2, 1979 and not later than August1, 1990. Age relaxtion is admissible to the various categories as per rules.
- For National Eligibility Test: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on August 1, 2011. There is on upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
Fee: Candidates seeking
admission to ARS/ NET Examination must pay to the Board a fee of Rs
1000/- Through Crossed Bank Draft only, valid for six months from the
date of issue, drawn in favour of Secretary, A.S.R.B and payable at New
Delhi with application form. Candidate should their name and address at
the reverse of the Bank Draft in the top corner at the time of
submission of application. All women candidate and those belonging to
SC/ST/ physically disabled are exempted from the fee payment.
Selection process: Candidates declared successful in ARS-Examination and Viva-voice will be recommended for the appointment as Scientists in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)
