CBSE Merit Scholarship for Single Girl Child

The fellowship covers: The scholarship holder would be given Rs.500 a month for a period of two years only (Class XI & XII).

Duration: Two years

Eligibility:

• The applicant should be an Indian national and the girl child and only child of her parents.
• She should be a student of CBSE in Class X in which she would have scored 6.2 or more CGPA.
• The tuition fees for Class X should not be more than Rs.1,500 per month during the academic year.

Note: The scholars who have been granted scholarships by the Board in respect of the above said scheme in the previous years may also apply for renewal of scholarships.
