Pay scale:
  • Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + GP 10,000/-
  • Associate Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + GP 9,000/-
  • Assistant Professor: Rs.15,600- 39,100 + GP 6,000/-
Eligibility:
  • Professor: Ph.D. in Media Studies/ Communication/ Journalism. Actively engaged in research, with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and / or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ ISSN numbered books. A minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience in university/ college.
  • Associate Professor (New media, Communication & Media Research, English Journalism): Ph.D. in Media Studies/ Communication/ Journalism. At least 55% marks at the Master's degree level. A minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in a regular position equivalent to that of assistant professor on a University/ College or Accredited Research Institution with evidence of published work with a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ ISSN numbered books.
  • Associate Professor (Integrated Marketing communication): Ph.D./ Fellowship in Management/ Marketing. At least 55% marks at the Master's degree level. A minimum of 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research in a regular position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor on a University/ College or Accredited Research Institution with evidence of published work in the field of Advertising/ Brand management/ Integrated Marketing Communication with a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research/ policy papers in indexed/ ISBN/ ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ ISSN numbered books.
  • Assistant Professor (Advertising- Media Planning, Hindi Journalism): At least 55% marks at the master's degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University/accredited foreign university. Candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC Holders of Ph.D. degrees shall be exempted from NET.

  • Assistant Professor: Below 40 years
