Indian Oil needs 225 engineers (through GATE 2012)

Entry level position: Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs)

Selection process: Through GATE score 2012. 

Note: GATE 2011 scores not valid 

GATE exam date: February 12, 2012

Civil
Computer Science and Information Technology
Electrical
Instrumentation
Mechanical
Matallurgy

Eligibility:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree with 65% marks (relaxation to pass class for SC/ST/PH)  from recognized Indian Universities/ Institutes.
  • Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply
Age: Max 26 years, relaxation as per rules.

Salary: Candidates selected as GAEs for one-year apprenticeship training will be paid consolidated stipend  Rs.20000/- per month and Engineers/Officers Rs.24900/- per month. Upon successful completion of apprenticeship training, they may be appointed as engineers.
