Eligibility:

LL.M: who have passed their LL.B. / BA.LL.B. or LL.B. / BA.LL.B. ( Hons ) Examination from this University or from other University recognised by the University of Calcutta at the time of Admission. Fifty percent ( 50% ) of total number of seats in the 1st year shall be reserved for LL.B. / BA. LL.B. ( Hons ) Graduates of this University and the admission will be on the basis of marks obtained at LL.B. / BA.LL.B.( Hons ) Examination.
Ph.D.(Tech): Candidates having degree in Bachelor of Technology or Master of Science (without NET/SET/SLET/GATE) securing 1st class (selection through Entrance Test & Interview); Candidates having degree in Master of Technology or Equivalent or Master of Science (with NET/SET/SLET/GATE) securing 1st class (selection through Interview only).
Diploma in Medical Instrumentation: Any candidate who has passed B.Sc.(Hons,) in Physics/Electronics or B.Sc.(minimum 2nd division) with 50% marks in Physics or degree/diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering from any recognized University/Institute with Biology at H.S. level will be eligible to apply. A total course fee of Rs. 25,000/- will be received in two installments
Ph.D. in Arabic and Persian: who have already passed UGC / NET / SET / SLET / M.Phill / Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations need not appear at the written examination and can directly apply to appear at the interview.
