Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any one of the seven disciplines stated above with minimum 55 % (CGPA = 6.0 on scale of 10) or equivalent. Five years’ experience after graduation. Minimum experience requirement for SVNIT staff is TWO years.
How to apply: Click here to download application form. The application should be submitted only OFF LINE. It should be sent to “The Registrar, SVNIT, Ichchhanath, Surat-395007.” Candidates must submit the application and processing fee, Rs. 1000/- (for Open/OBC) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST) in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of “Director, SVNIT, Surat” payable at Surat and required certificates as envisaged in the information brochure at the time of application.
The applicants can apply throughout the year after downloading the application form Institute website. Those applications will be processed twice in a year. The applications received till June 30 and November 30 shall be processed in July and December respectively for admission in each year. The schedule for interviews of those applicants will be notified separately on Institute website in the month of July and December.
Selection process: Oral presentation on the proposed area of research in front of a committee to be constituted by DBPGS&R of concerned Department.
