Eligibility:

• Candidates must have appeared in AIEEE 2011
• General category (OP) candidates with AIEEE Overall AIR up to 60,000 for BIT Patna
• General category (OP) candidates with AIEEE Overall AIR up to 1,00,000 for BIT Jaipur
• General category (OP) candidates with AIEEE Overall AIR up to 1,25,000 for BIT Deoghar
• SC/ST/PH candidates with rank cards showing that they are eligible for Central Counselling of CCB 2011
• Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1986 are eligible for admission.
• passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination with 50% marks for general category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/PH category candidates.

Selection process: Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as given below may report for Spot Admission in between 9am and 12 Noon on 5 September 2011 at BIT Patna, BIT Deoghar and BIT Jaipur, as per their choice of place for study.

BRING complete application form along with two recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form), originals and photocopies of all marksheets and certificates and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 2,500/- (non-refundable) in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology” payable at Ranchi.

• Original Bank Challan receipt (SBI / ICICI) -– who had applied earlier 
• Printout of New Application Form for SPOT Admission – for fresh candidates only
• Admit Card of AIEEE 2011 issued by CBSE, New Delhi
• Rank Card of AIEEE 2011
• Pass Certificate of Class 10 as proof of date of birth
• Mark Sheet of Class 10
• Mark Sheet of Class 12 / Intermediate/ equivalent Exam (for verifying marks)
• Certificate of category (SC/ST candidates) if applicable issued by appropriate authority of rank not less than SDO
• Certificate for physically challenged (PH) if applicable in proper format issued by appropriate authority
• School / College Leaving Certificate
• Migration Certificate

Those who have already applied: Candidates, who have applied earlier but could not appear for the SPOT admission, need not make fresh application. However, they must bring their original online application form with Bank Challan. They need not make fresh Demand Draft.
