80 Khorana Scholarships for research studies in US
- The Khorana Scholars programme will pay all expenses for up to 80 Indian students to travel to UW-Madison and partner U.S. universities to engage in a hands-on research project.
- Indian students will be matched with a faculty member at a partner university in the U.S. based on what type of project they would like to work on.
- This is an excellent opportunity to apply lab skills in an indepen¬dent environment. At the end of the program, students will present their projects at a symposium.
- Opportunities are available to pursue research in the sciences, medicine, agriculture, and engineering.
Eligibility: Candidates
currently enrolled in B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.Sc. courses in science,
engineering, and medicine are eligible to apply. You must be currently
enrolled in recognized institution of higher education in India. This
program is not open to those who already have a graduate or
undergraduate degree.
- The applicant should have a have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 8.0 or higher (Percentage equivalent: 80% and higher).
- Candidates are encouraged to submit the application as a single pdf document. Scans or other electronic versions of documents will also be accepted.
- Applications in subject-fields other than those specified in the advertisement will not be considered.
- Incomplete applications and applications received after the stipulated date will not be considered.
