Programmes:
- Diploma in Nursing Therapy (D.N.T)
- Diploma in Integrated Pharmacy (D.I.P)
Course fee: Rs.7,200/- (Rupees Seven Thousand and Two Hundred only) per annum for Diploma in Nursing Therapy course and Rs.3,600/- (Rupees Three Thousand and Six Hundred only) per annum for Diploma in Integrated Pharmacy course.
Eligibility: 10+2 with following group of subjects in one attempt:
(a) Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology; (or)
(b) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; (or)
(c) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.
The candidate should be native of Tamil Nadu. Except those candidates who have studied in a school in the State of Tamil Nadu from 8th standard to plus Two, others should produce the Nativity Certificate in the format prescribed in Annexure I from the competent authority. The candidates who are the children of parent of Tamil Nadu origin living in other states should also produce the Nativity Certificate as mentioned above.
Age: 17 to 25 years
Total no. of seats: 100 seats in each programme
Selection process: Selection will be made on merit basis of marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the prescribed science subjects at the qualifying examinations calculated to the base of 200 marks. The method of calculation is given below:
- Weighted Total Marks for a maximum of 200
- Percentage in Biology: (A)
- Percentage in Physics and Chemistry taken together: (B)
- Percentage in Botany and Zoology Taken together: (C )
- Weighted total marks for a maximum of 200: Either (A +B OR (B + C)
