Pay scale:

• Professor: 37,400-67,000 + GP Rs. 10,000 (Pay Band-4)
• Associate Professor: 37,400-67,000 + GP Rs. 8,700 (Pay Band-4)
• Senior Residents: As per the recommendations of 6th pay commission

Eligibility:
Professor:

• A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline.

Associate Professor:

• A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ discipline. Senior Residents:

Senior Residents: Candidates should have Post Graduate degree or diploma in specialty (Surgery, Orthopaedics, Aneasthesia) from recognized University, registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Candidate must have not completed 3 years Senior Residency. If such candidates are not available, then candidates having MBBS with 2 years experience in concerned specialty can also be considered.

Age: Not exceeding 50 for the post of Professor and Associate Professor, in the case of Senior Residents it is 35 years.

Selection process:

• For Professor & Associate Professor: Short listed candidates will be called for and interview.
• For Sr. Residents: on the basis of Walk-in-interview

How to apply:
For Professor & Associate Professor: The application duly filled along with necessary documents and photocopies of certificates should reach the Jt. Director (Rectt.), ESI Corporation (Headqrts Office), Panchdeep Bhawan, C.I.G. Marg New Delhi-110002.

Sr. Residents: Eligible candidates may appear for interview with photocopies of all the Educational Certificates, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Registration certificate (MCI/DMC) and experience certificates along with originals and two passport size photographs. Application fee (non refundable) of Rs. 300/-(General & OBC candidates) and Rs. 75/- (for SC/ST) must be submitted in the form of Demand Draft/ Banker's cheque in favour of "ESI Fund Account No.1" payable at Delhi.

Last date:

• For Professor & Associate Professor: November 15, 2011
• For Sr. Residents: Walk-in-interview on October 18, 2011 at 9.00 to 11.00 am
