Junior Research Fellowships (JRF)
Senior Research Fellowships (SRF): ME, M.Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology (Chem. Engg., Mech. Engg., Agri. Engg., Civil Engg., Biochem. Engg., Energy Engg.) with minimum 60% marks Or MSc, BE, B.Tech with minimum 60% marks and at least two years of post MSc, BE, BTech, research experience as evidence from fellowship/ associateship or traineeship and published papers in standard refereed journals.
Post Doctoral Fellowship (PDF):
Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Renewable Energy or relevant field of science and engineering.
Candidates submitted thesis and likely to appear Viva-voce within six months are also eligible to apply.
Upper age limit for JRF: 28 years, Tenure: 2 years
Upper age limit for SRF: 32 years, Tenure: 3 years
Upper age limit for PDF: 32 years, Tenure: 3 years
Stipend/ Fellowship amount:
JRF Rs.16000 PM+HRA (if hostel accommodation not provided)
SRF Rs.18000PM+HRA (if hostel accommodation not provided)
PDF Rs.22000 PM +HRA (if hostel accommodation not provided)
Selection process: Candidate must furnish about 500 words abstract of the R&D work he/she plans to pursue at the Institute and the name of the equipment facilities required for the purpose.
