Eligibility:

• Candidates should have a CGPA of 6.75 (6.25 for SC/ST) on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate.
• A relaxation in CGPA/marks to 6.25 (55%) is also available to those with MA.Degree in English for admission to Ph.D in English.

• Information brochure and Application form can be availed personally from PG Section, Room no. AD-229, Main Building, IIT Delhi against Demand Draft of Rs 300/- (Rs 150/- for SC/ST/OBC) drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, IIT Delhi’ payable at New Delhi.
• For getting the Application form by post, the candidate should send a DD and a self-addressed envelope with postage stamps of Rs 15/- to Deputy Registrar (PGS & R), IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016

• Issue of application form and submission of online application form commences: October 10, 2011
• Last date of issue of application form by post and closure of website for submission of online applications: November 14, 2011
• Last date for acquiring application form in person: November 21, 2011
• Last date for receipt of completed application both online and offline(hard copy): November 21, 2011
