• RISE programme for undergraduate students 2012
• RISE Professional 2012

Programme mission: RISE professional placements aim to provide students the opportunity to live and work in an international context, to gain confidence in their practical and professional skills, to improve their German and be a source of mutual cultural and professional enrichment for interns and their host companies.

Eligibility:

• RISE programme for undergraduate students 2012: UG students currently enrolled at a US, Canadian or UK university in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and engineering
• RISE Professional 2012: Recent graduates, Master and PhD students from North American, USA and Canada universities in the fields of biology, chemistry, engineering, geology and physics (or a closely related field) are invited to apply. Undergraduates who are RISE alumni or former DAAD scholarship holders are also eligible.
• German language requirements depend on the nature of the internship.

• In case of applying to RISE Professional submit a cover letter addressed to the companies to which you plan to apply, resume, list of subjects studied, a reference letter from a senior professor of your University, an official college/university transcript, a copy of ‘certificate of enrolment’ (not applicable for recent graduates) and copy of passport.

Submission deadline: January 31, 2012

Notification of future interns: March 2012
