ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION
Engineering/Technology graduates in any branch with first class (relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST/PD candidates) and with valid CAT (Common Admission Test) score. Admission is based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview with appropriate weightage to CAT score. As per the Govt. of India rules, reservation of seats exists for SC, ST, OBC and PD candidates.
SC/ST candidates are granted Central Sector Scholarship as per the scheme of Govt. of India vide letters No. 11016/19/2005, SCD-1 dated 21.06.2007 and No. 19012/36/-5- Education dated 27.06.2007 subject to the satisfactory fulfillment of terms and conditions mentioned therein. Final year Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply, provided they secure first class in the qualifying degree and intimate before June 29,2012. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview atNITIE, Mumbai.
