Entrance Exam: All India Post Graduate Medical/Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE-2012)

Programme:

• MD/MS: Three years from the date of admission. Candidates are eligible for admission after completion of compulsory rotating internship.
• Diploma: Two years from the date of admission after completion of compulsory rotating internship.
• MDS: Two years

Eligibility:

• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply
• The candidate must posses MBBS/BDS degree from a recognized Medical/Dental College or a foreign degree included in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and full registration either from the Medical/Dental Council of India or State Medical/Dental Council after completing the compulsory rotating internship.
• Candidates who have obtained MBBS/BDS from Medical/Dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible to apply. However, candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/D.G.H.S., New Delhi) to do MBBS/BDS from Medical/Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply subject to submission of requisite documents specified in the Prospectus.
• The candidates should complete the required period of 12 months pre-registration internship from a recognized Hospital on or before 31st March, 2012.

Application fee: General/OBC Category: Rs.1000/- (SC/ST Category Rs. 800/-) + Transaction charges as applicable. Payment through computer generated Challan Form in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). The candidates are required to bring AIIMS copy of Challan Form at the time of examination along with Admit Card and must hand over the AIIMS copy of Challan to the Invigilator, failing which their candidature will not be considered.

Important dates:

• Application deadline: December 21, 2011 (up to 5:00 PM)
• Entrance Examination: January 08, 2012

NOTE:

• Candidates are required to bring AIIMS copy of Challan Form to the Examination Hall on the day of Examination and Deposit the same with Invigilator at the time of attendance.
• Candidates are NOT required to send any documents, including Registration slip to AIIMS.
