Course fee: For non-sponsored candidates Rs. 1,10,000/- (in two installments). For sponsored candidates Rs. 1,50,000/- payable in lump sum at the time of admission.
Eligibility: Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Instrumentation from a recognized technical board of the state/central Govt. with minimum of 60% marks with I class/I Grade). Graduate engineers are not eligible.
Age: 27 years on January 1, 2012. No age limit for sponsored candidates.
Total no of seats: 72
Selection process: As per Merit (% of marks in Diploma) and subsequent counseling.
How to apply: Application are to be filled On Line with Demand Draft( DD for prescribed Registration fees of Rs. 800/- in favour of NPTI (ER) payable at Durgapur, must be ready at the time of on line registration). Each applicant will be given a unique ID on successful registration at site. This ID must be preserved for future reference. On registration the hard copy along with testimonials (refer website) and Demand draft should be sent to the Principal Director, National Power Training Institute (ER), City Centre, Durgapur-713216, West Bengal along with two copies of latest passport size Photograph, one with application form and other staple with application form (with Name and ID written on back side) latest by January 12, 2012 by Speed Post/Registered post only. No application will be received or considered without requisite attachments and after January 12.
