Programme: Technology-led Entrepreneurship Programme

Objective: The objective of this programme is to inculcate the spirit of technological entrepreneurship amongst our Research Scholars to enable them to learn how to take knowledge based innovations through to a commercial outcome.

Venue: Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, (IICT) Hyderabad

Dates: March 15 - 30, 2012

Eligibility criteria:

• Research Scholars [JRF, SRF, RA from Science & Engineering Stream] availing fellowships of any central agency [CSIR, UGC, ICMR, ICAR, DAE, DRDO, DST, DBT] working in Indian  universities and R & D organizations having at least one year of research experience are eligible to apply for this programme.
• Research Scholars working as Women Scientists under DST scheme and having at least one year of research experience are also eligible to apply for this programme.
• GATE qualified M.Tech students, Project Assistants registered for Ph.D and Research Scholars working in externally funded project in CSIR Labs and having a minimum of one year of research experience are eligible.

Selection of Participants: Since the seats are limited, the applications will be evaluated by the Screening Committee and candidates selected for participation will be informed accordingly.

Boarding & Lodging: Selected participants will be provided free boarding, lodging and course material during the programme. No registration Fee will be charged.
