Teacher Eligibility Test: Uttar Pradesh, 2011

Programme: Teacher Eligibility Test, Uttar Pradesh (UPTET).
Applicability: Candidates , who will qualify the Teacher Eligibility Test- Uttar Pradesh (UP-TET) with prescribed minimum percentage will be eligible for appointment in all such primary level and upper primary level schools which

• are under the State Government
• have been given for recognition/ affiliation by State Government/ Basic Education Council/ Secondary Education Council from time to time
• are aided by State Government
• Are affiliated to any National Education Board and have been given a No-objection certificate by the State Government.

Eligibility:
Primary Level (I to Vth):

• Graduate with Two years B.T.C./ C.T. (Nursery)/ N.I.T. in Elementary Education from and institute recognized by National Teacher Education Council and Affiliated to State Government OR
• Graduate with  special B.T.C.traning, recognized by National Teacher Education Council, conducted by U.P. State Government OR
• Graduate with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. or Graduate with atleast 45% marks and one year B.Ed./ D.Ed (Special Education)/ B.Ed. (Special Education) in accordance with the national council for Teacher Education (Recognition, parameters and Activities) Regulations passed form time to time. Such a candidate will be eligible for appointment from January 2012 provided he/she completes the six months special programme in Elementary Education reconized by National Council for Teacher Education after appointment. OR
• Graduate and moallim-e-urdu degree holder before August 11, 1997 (For Urdu teacher) OR
• Graduate with Diploma in teaching from Aligarh Muslim University (For Urdu Teacher).

Upper Primary Level (I to VIIIth):

• Graduate with Two years B.T.C./ C.T. (Nursery)/ N.I.T. in Elementary Education from and institute recognized by National Teacher Education Council and Affiliated to State Government OR
• Graduate with atleast 50% marks and one year B.Ed. OR
• Graduate with atleast 45% marks and one year B.Ed. in accordance with the national council for Teacher Education (Recognition, parameters and Activities) Regulations passed form time to time.
• Graduate with atleast 50% marks and one year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Note: Candidates form reserved category like SC/ST/OBC/ PH/ Ex-Servicesmen/ Freedom Fighter etc. will be given a relaxation of 5% in minimum marks requirment.
Selection process: Written test.
Form Fees: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST, PH candidates exempted)
How to Apply:

• Candidates can obtain (buy) Information bulletin/ Brouchers and Application form of UPTET 2011 from any branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) from September 26, 2011.
• Dully Filled in application form must be send by registered post or submit to the Office of Zonal Education Directorate on or Before October 18, 2011.
