Scholarship: Erasmus Mundus scholarship

Programme: Master on Work, Organization and Personnel Psychology (WOP‐P) programme

Programme highlights:

• To prepare the students as competent practitioners in Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology at the entry level as independent (non supervised) practitioners. This preparation is inspired in the scientist-practitioner model, which assumes that good preparation as a practitioner implies the acquisition of professional and research competences
• To offer a European referent of training in WOP-P to the students of other regions of the world
• To promote mobility of European and third-country students and staff across Europe
• To contribute towards university excellence and competitiveness within the European Higher Education system.

Five universities are part of the educational consortium:

• Universitat de València (Spain)
• Universitat de Barcelona (Spain)
• Université René Descartes Paris 5 (France)
• Alma Mater Studiorum‐Università di Bologna (Italy)
• Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal)

Changes in the Second round of the WOP‐P Programme: To study the whole program in English and to develop exchange periods of study with the new American Universities in the partnership.

Eligibility:

• University undergraduate degree in Psychology
• Commitment in writing to full-time dedication for the 2 years of the programme and other commitments for students with EM grants and commitments for students without EM grants.
• Fluency in English (level B1), using the common European Framework of reference for languages.

Selection process:

• Based on the academic performance and credentials of the candidates, in order to guarantee the selection of high-quality scholars.
• The following criteria will be considered: CV, teaching and research experience in the field, knowledge of English, and knowledge of a European language of the Consortium (Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese).
• The Coordinating Committee of the WOP-P Consortium will propose the selected scholars for the Erasmus Mundus grants

• Scholar's commitment (signed and scanned). It can be found at the end of this page.
• An extensive CV, stating publication records, research activities, etc (please in English)
• Your passport or any other identification document of your own country
• A motivation letter. A model can be found at the end of this page.
• A simple photocopy of your academic degrees or professional diplomas, and your previous teaching experience in the field (seminars, intensive courses, etc)
• Language certificates, if available. If you have no official language certificates, please upload a document (.doc or .txt) explaining how you have learnt the language(s).
• Any other document you would like to provide

Application deadline:

• Scholarships for students: November 15, 2011 to January 1, 2012
• Scholarships for scholars: November 15, 2011 to September 30,  2012
